Clockwork City Sets were added to Elder Scrolls Online (ESO) with the Clockwork City DLC in October/November of 2017. 12 new Sets were added to the game from a variety of sources: 3 Sets available at Crafting Stations within the Clockwork City, 3 Sets available as drops throughout Clockwork City, and 6 Item Sets available as drops in the new Trial, Asylum Sanctorium. Below is a list of all new item sets, with values being for a full set of gold-quality, CP160 gear.

 

 

Clockwork City Dropped (Overland) Sets

Mad Tinkerer

(2 items) Adds 833 Spell Critical
(3 items) Adds 833 Spell Critical
(4 items) Adds 129 Spell Damage
(5 items) When you deal damage, you have a 10% chance to summon a Verminous Fabricant that charges the nearest enemy, dealing 10,000 Shock Damage to all enemies in its path, knocking them into the air, and stunning them for 2 seconds. This effect can occur once every 10 seconds.

Unfathomable Darkness

(2 items) Adds 833 Weapon Critical
(3 items) Adds 1487 Physical Penetration
(4 items) Adds 129 Weapon Damage
(5 items) When you deal damage, you have a 10% chance to call a murder of crows around you for 12 seconds. Every 3 seconds a crow will be sent to peck the closest enemy within 12 meters of you, dealing 4000 Physical Damage. This effect can occur once every 15 seconds.

Livewire

(2 items) Adds 4% Healing Taken
(3 items) Adds 1206 Max Health
(4 items) Adds 4% Healing Taken
(5 items) When you take damage, you have a 25% chance to overload your circuits, applying Concussion to enemies within 8 meters of you and healing for 1000 Max Health for each enemy hit. This effect can occur once every 10 seconds.

Fortified Brass

(4 Traits)

(2 items) Adds 1206 Max Health
(3 items) Adds 2975 Physical Resistance
(4 items) Adds 2975 Spell Resistance.
(5 items) Adds 5170 Physical Resistance and 5170 Spell Resistance.

Mechanical Acuity

(6 Traits)

(2 items) Adds 129 Weapon Damage
(3 items) Adds 129 Spell Damage
(4 items) Adds 1096 Max Stamina and 1096 Max Magicka.
(5 items) When you deal damage, you have a 15% chance to gain unerring mechanical vision for 5 seconds, causing your attacks to always be a Critical Strike. This effect can occur once every 18 seconds.

 

Asylum Sanctorium Sets

These Weapons Sets are obtained by completing Cloudrest Trial, which was added with the Clockwork DLC. Normal versions are obtained by finishing it on Normal difficulty, while "Perfected" versions are acquired by completing it on Veteran. Drops are random, so you will have to complete it several times until you get the exact weapon you want.

Perfect Disciplined Slash

Defensive Position

eso-asylums-axe-trial-weaponeso-asylums-mace-trial-weaponeso-asylums-sword-trial-weaponeso-asylums-dagger-trial-weaponeso-asylums-shield-trial-weapon (2 items) When you reflect or absorb a spell projectile with Defensive Posture, you restore 1818 Magicka. If Defensive Posture expires without reflecting or absorbing a spell projectile, you restore 4545 Magicka instead.

Perfect Defensive Position

Chaotic Whirlwind

Perfect Chaotic Whirlwind

Piercing Spray

eso-asylums-bow-trial-weapon (2 items) When you deal damage with Arrow Spray, you cause enemies hit to take 45% more damage from the direct damage portion of your next SnipeScatter Shot, or Poison Arrow used within 5 seconds.

Perfect Piercing Spray

eso-asylums-bow-trial-weapon (2 items) When you deal damage with Arrow Spray, you cause enemies hit to take 50% more damage from the direct damage portion of your next SnipeScatter Shot, or Poison Arrow used within 5 seconds.

Concentrated Force

      Boring, nonsense sets, Zenimax unftly does not manage to release new sets that help with pve, pvp and in trials: damage, so that tanks can also cause some damage, heal in case there's no healer and good defense. still my fav's are clearly 5set Bahrahra's Curse and 5set Thunderbug finalized with a monster set that deals wide spread damage for wide Bahrahra's Healing triggered (usually triggered on mass by the thunderbug shock proc already). Did not find another set that delivers fun, versatility and also allows to tank veteran dungeons and vet trials while rolling between 8k - 14k dps, depending how reliable the proc's trigger.

        These sets are garbage none offer sustain these are purely pve sets. The Asylum weapons seem useful and interesting.

          Is it just me or does it seem like Zeni is trying to push players into Hybrid builds? Mechanical Acuity, Innate Axiom, Shacklebreaker, Assassin's Guile < All these sets seem like Hybrid sets to me.

            i think these sets are going to be cool for pve. i like re-building alot of sets and the really only people that complain are pvpers

              why so much dmg for the light atmor set?? only making mag sorcs more op :/ compared to the medium armor set, its too powerful

                Unfathomable Darkness is complete dog***** ..... 1,333 DPS VS the Magic Equal Set (Mad Tinkerer) that provides a HELLA Burst of 10K a CC ANDDD a shorter time by 5 seconds......... WHY do MAGIC sets and ability ALWAYS get more burst than Stam?

                  That Fortified Brass is the 4-trait version of Armor Master (9 traits).
                  With that, anyone can become a super tank easily.
