Alliance War Skills are Skills a player can acquire by gaining Alliance Rank in Cyrodiil in Elder Scrolls Online (You do NOT gain exactly one level for each rank). There are many ways to gain Alliance Points, but the easiest is simply attacking or defending keeps.


 

Assault Skills in Elder Scrolls Online are special PvP-related skills that can be progressed by visiting Cyrodiil after reaching level 10. You do not have to level these skills up in Cyrodiil, just have them in your bar. Progression is, however, locked by your PVP rank, so make sure to participate in the Alliance War to unlock higher level abilities.
