The necromancer is now a class that you have to buy separately from the dlc and I just wasted my money on the elsweyr dlc

Necro Tank/Stam DPS is OP tbh. Rockin' both Plague Doctor and Warrior-Poet as a Nord with Lord Stone, I'm at 57.7k (101k in Goliath Form! Thanks, constant Minor Toughness) with over-maxed resistances and CONSTANT Ult regen (My math's probably off a bit but I'm averaging 75 Ult every 10 seconds, 105-165 Ult if I'm fighting Undead/Daedra/Werewolves) to just spam Ravenous Goliath all-day, all-night long. The sheer brutality of such an odd race/class combo is insanity, and by mixing in Guardian Spirit, I can reap the benefits of Undead Confederate and get 1.1k Stam Regen and 401 HP Regen.
“Heyyy you’re no Necromancer! You’re just a Warden with Skeletons!”

Necropotence as a recomended set ? That's Bullsh*t. With temporary pets, the 5 items bonus would hardly be reliable. If you need that much magicka, use Crafty Alfiq. That's only about 1k less magicka, but without condition.

I'll be honest, I wanted someone akin to Diablo 3's Necromancer, a roving army of skeleton warriors, Flesh Atronach, Necromage here and there, Necromancer is a swarming type deal in all decent mediums, taking that away and just making the skills death related and only like 3 summonable types that lasts only a for a few moments at best is insulting for a what's portrayed as a necromancer in every other media. This just feels like a regular mage type with undead type cosmetic difference with 90% of these abilities. I was so hoping to have more summons on screen then a Sorcerer (with balance of power with the number of summons of course). I'm sure there'd be something like "Well it's illegal in towns" as a arguement, which yes.I like that they implemented that, it's cool. But common, give it a workaround beyond "1-16 second lifespan" Like having a ability to sacrifice your Undead to heal, or a button to have the Undead go "underground" when not needed or for stealth, and have them pop out of the ground for a Ambush. I don't mind the extra baggage of having the hide/destroy them while entering towns, your practice is after all illegal, might as well feel the pressure of it. But also let us feel the power of being a army raiser, like a necromancer should be. I don't normally like calling things out, but with how painful looking at the lackluster summons for a dang necromancer is, it hurts.

Really upsetting not to have any undead pets, 16s mage what is that!?!?

Im kinda disappointed because the whole purpose of necromancy is to have the dead fight for you. And you kinda get that feel but at the same time you don't. I have played a lot of mmo's and most necros have pets that stay alive for at least 1 min or until they are killed but that doesn't happen here. Not only that but able to have multiple pets and in this one you only get 1 real pet and its for 15 seconds and only attacks ever 2 or 3 seconds. In all I think focusing on a pet build would do this necromancer some justice.
Hello, I was wondering if the Necromancer could spam Skeletal Mage and have multiple of them, or if only one can be summoned at the same time? I don't know where to find this info. Thanks.

Really disappointed that this isn't a true pet class. Necro screams for being a pet class.

Ok the Undead Confederate passive is way op. This is warden all over again. Wait until everyone buys it and then send in the nerfs

With necromancer and these new trial sets zos must be really money hungry. At least with the jewlery crafting that came with summerset one could have a friend make it for them. Eric Wrobel must have gotten fired for calling them out on it lol

Will this class ever be put on Crown Store in the future like Warden was? I wonder the same thing about the Psijic Order Skills

Why change the bone dragon breath? I think it would be a lot better than the flesh atronach and it's a skill we haven't seen before, the flesh atronach seems too similar to the stone atronach ultimate apart from it stomps the ground.

time to think of a good backstory if your imersive in the roleplaying part. maybe a reformed wormcultest

Based on photos, this class looks like a cross between Warden and Templar. Better grind for gear now until June.

God I want to see the abilities already. I want to get to theorycrafting!
