Lord Warden Dusk Set Notes & Tips

  • Radius increased from 5 to 8 meters with Update 15 - Horns of the Reach
  • This set is of variable use to tanks.  Some tanks use it to grant more damage mitigation to nearby party members, others use the personal bonus and 2-set mechanic to enhance their own survivability.  For some tanks, though, this set can be overkill.  Carefully consider your build, to determine if this set will be of benefit.
  • The Traits of this Set can be Transmuted at any Transmutation Station for 50 Transmute Crystals, but you must have researched the desired Trait in order to do so..
  • Once the set piece is in your Collections, you can create an account-bound piece of the set using Transmute Crystals.

You need to update the thing about the drops because they don't drop 100% of the time. I have done four veteran mode runs and it has been yet to drop

This set strikes me as a mini-Fortified Brass or mini-Mark of the Pariah, only with a weaker, mechanic-based defense bonus. I'd say if you're prevented from taking Brass or Pariah, this is still a good set for tanking, provided you've got good mitigations going on.

It’s definitely not overkill for pve tanks. Usually, pve tanks run support sets and have low resistances. This set ups the tanks resistances while providing damage mitigation to damage with 8 meters. It’s a staple for pve tanks.
