The Tharn Speaks is a quest in Elder Scrolls Online. 

Quest Information

Abnur Tharn seeks an audience with me away from the Harborage. I should see what he wants.

 

Start

 

Walkthrough

  • Travel to the Mages Guild in Vulkhel Guard, Daggerfall or Davon's Watch.
  • Talk to Abnur Tharn.
  • Activate the three Speaking Stones in the Worm Cult lair.
  • Talk to Abnur Tharn.
  • Talk to Varen in the Harborage.

 

 

Trivia


Once you reach level 25, a banekin will approach you the next time you enter a city. It will tell you that Tharn wishes to speak with you. You have to go to the Mages Guild in your faction.
Speak with him to hear his doubts about the situation, and he will tell you to go on a search for information. Head to the marked area, and enter with Tharn at your side. Explore the area and look for clues about Sai Sahan and where he is being held. Once you have them, Tharn will instruct you to visit Varen in The Harborage. Do so to complete the quest.

      For those having an issue with the banekin not showing up...I had "The Demon Weapon" prologue quest active. This caused the "The Tharn Speak" quest to not initiate. Two Abnur Tharns would exist at the same time in the same place, space-time continuum goes boom. Resolve this by either abandoning "The Demon Weapon" and reloading or completing the prologue quest.
