Frighten the Fearsome is a quest in Elder Scrolls Online (ESO).

Quest Information

The Bosmer in this part of the Valenwood are opposed to the Dominion. I've agreed to negotiate and attempt to convince them to swear allegiance to Queen Ayrenn.

Start

• Razum-dar in Marbruk or Hazazi outside Bramblebreach

Quest Objectives

• Talk to Hazazi in Bramblebreach.
• Talk to Treethane Niriel.
• Find the Shimmering Tree.
• Talk to Aranias.
• Collect Kallopi seeds and essence.
• (Optional) Talk to Andur.
• Plant the four Kallopi seeds, then defeat the Orc Chieftain.
• Talk to Treethane Niriel.

Walkthrough

After the Staff of Magnus been stolen, speak to Razum-dar outside the Marbruk Mages Guild.

After that, you can ask Raz for further info and proceed to Bramblebreach.

Now speak to Hazazi, the wording is a little different depend on where you have spoken to Razum-dar.

Find the Treethane in the highest hut in the village, you will meet Aranias before you enter the chambers.

After you extract enough info from Treethane, travel to Shimmering Tree, which is on the eastern edge of the village. There you will meet Aranias and Andur again. You can ask Aranias about her story.

If you listen to Aranias' advice, now you can speak to Andurto learn more info.

Search the Shimmering Kollopi tree to find Kollopi Essence and Kollopi Seeds. To the south of the tree, there is a passage leads to Wood Orc Camp, fight your way to the seed location, or pass it in disguise.

Head north to the locations to plant the seeds. (be careful with the orcs watch the locations) Once all seeds are planted, return to where you planted the central seed and enter the cave to the east. In the final chamer at southwestern corner, you need to kill the orc Shaman and Chieftian.

Return to Treethane Niriel to conclude the quest.
