Inspiration is the name of crafting experience in Elder Scrolls Online. All six crafting professions use inspiration-eso-crafting-leveling Inspiration as a measure for experience to rank up, and they all use the same amount of inspiration for all ranks.

 

How to gain inspiration & level up crafting in ESO

In order to gain access to higher crafting skills, you must rank up your crafting level. This is done by gaining inspiration from deconstructing items looted or made by other players, and to a lesser extent crafting items yourself. The higher the level and quality of the deconstructed item, the more inspiration gained.

You may also see perform daily writs, which grant daily inspiration in exchange for a few materials scaled to your crafting level, and may also yield special crafting items including Motifs and rare Trait & Style Gems.

      Does inspiration gained from deconstructing items scale with your player level? For example, I have a level 50 magblade and a level 10 magplar-in-progress. Will the magplar gain more inspiration from deconstructing a higher level item fed from the magblade via the bank? Or does item deconstruction grant the same amount of inspiration regardless?
