Vampire Skills in Elder Scrolls Online can be obtained by being bitten by a player with Blood Ritual or by being bitten by high-level Vampires in the later PvE zones (also, see our Vampirism and check how to be cured.). This Skill Line levels up by gaining xp. The skills do not need to be on your bar. Any points spent into the line cannot be re-distributed at a shrine if the player has cured vampirism. Re-spec your points BEFORE curing yourself. Vampire skills will be revamped in Greymoor Expansion (released on May 26th on PC and June 9th 2020 on Consoles).

As a long time fan of the Vampire genre I do like many of the skills and powers of the vampire but there are a few things that I believe should be changed.
- Due to their legendary nocturnal nature Vampires should be Stage 4 during the day but Stage 1 during the night. Their skills should function with a bonus.
- During the day, a vampire should be able to function underground and away from the sun and this could be reflected by a Stage 2 or 3.

I was a level 7 vampire prior to the release of greymore. I used earned skill points to advance the abilities. After the greymore release ALL of my abilities have been “greyed”. They show that once I rewatch a higher level I can access them, but will need to REPURCHASE them. My skill points that I invested were never returned. Customer service just won’t deal with it. Completely unfair. Had I known that I would loose earned skill points that I invested because of the release of greymore I would have never become a vampire in game.

Besides transforming into a Scion, is it just me, or do the rewarked vampire skill-line suck?
Feels it caters too much to it's own skill tree now (focusing on dps), rather than working off of your overall class/characters synergy. :/

It looks like the values listed for new skills might be for Stage 4, given how working back from 60% to 100% gives you nice round costs (285 for ulti, 2295 for Eviscerate, and 960 for Frenzy).

Don't have to respec before curing anymore, you'll get all allocated skill points in the vamp skill tree back upon curing.

Tested Unnatural Resistance on 1/25/2018.
It removes 25% from the health recovery reductions.
With the passive at stages 1 & 2 you have -0% reduction, stage 3 is -25% and stage 4 is -50%.
The tooltip for vampire stage does not change.

Vampire line is absolutely pathetic and penalizes the character for being one instead of rewarding them for the accomplishment. In stark contrast the werewolf line rewards everything you do and has NO detriment, and especially not a full time drain on the character the way vampire does....complete horse crap.
