Treasure Hunter Set Location
- Treasure Hunter Set drops from all enemies in the dungeon Volenfell. It can also be looted from Treasure Chests inside the dungeon.
- Dungeon bosses and mini bosses will now drop a set piece 100% of the time.
- Mini bosses will drop either a hand, waist, or feet set piece.
- Bosses will drop either a chest, shoulder, head or leg set piece.
- The final Boss of a dungeon will drop weapons or jewelry.
- Normal mode dungeon bosses will drop blue-quality items.
- Veteran mode dungeon bosses will drop purple-quality items.

I've been wearing this set for a long time. I believe it's one of the best early-game starter sets if you aren't running with abilities that increase your crit, or you don't run crit-potions yet. This piece is arguably BiS if you are short ability slots and still run cheap mana potions.
But once you have enough money, Gear like Mother's Sorrow is better. Period. Without the use of potions/abilities you lose 2% crit and 100 Spell Power with M.S. But if you run tri-potions you will gain 8% (extra, 18% total) crit and 20% extra Spell Power.
Treasure Hunter set is a cheap replacement if you don't want to spend money on things that actively increase your output.

Been trying to get the jewelry to run treasure hunter with Julianos & monster helm. Finally got a ring & it dropped from the beetle boss, the necklace I got from the final boss. This can be solo’d on Vet it just takes a good hour.

soooo I was trying to find this set to replace inner light so I could use the skill slot for a different skill.... but after hours in the Vollenfell dungeon, our whole group found 9 treasure hunter's boots from either the first boss, or random enemies in the first chunk,and a treasure hunter ring in a chest. ALL the other bosses dropped the crusader set armor instead (which is listed everywhere as being found in cyrodiil.) Did they switch the location where the treasure hunter armor is dropped. because this dungeon does not seem to drop this set anymore (esspecially from the bosses which are listed online as 100% chance to drop this armor)
Any ideas?
