Potent Nirncrux is an Weapon Trait Gem in Elder Scrolls Online. It can be crafted into an Weapon piece at, and only at, its creation. When used in Crafting, this Gem applies the Trait Nirnhoned to the weapon piece. This Gem can be acquired by deconstruction items that have the Nirnhoned Trait, resource nodes anywhere in Craglorn, or by purchasing them in Guild Stores.

AnonymousThese kinds of ultra rare drops that take many hours to get even 1 of should not exist in a video game. This is how you lose players. Good job, you got some dummy to pay $60 for your game, but they won't be coming back. I suppose you might call that being successful, since you successfully sold a product. This kind of grind does not create a sense of pride and accomplishment, it just creates frustration for 98% of players. The other 2% being 11 year olds with too much time.

3 hours farming for this, not 1. I think we can safely say this trait does not exist for anyone but the most extreme hardcore gamer.

I thought it was only in upper craglorn. That's kind of an important difference given the low drop rate

If I use a potent nornhoned on one of my dual wielding swords does it increase my magic dmg abilities

This Information is wrong, since it increases weapon damage, as mentioned at the previous page.
I think it is meant to be like winning the lottery, something you find quickly. The time you spend farming you will either have it or have made enough gold to be able to buy it. The twist is finding someone(hopefully a guildie) kind enough to make it for you (and not charge an arm and a leg for it.)
