Exploration was an Armor Trait in Elder Scrolls Online. It was crafted using the trait gem Garnet, which has been updated in 2016 to create the new trait Prosperous in it's place.

It was once able to be crafted into an armor piece at, and only at, its creation. This trait was also able be found on many various Armor Sets and various pieces of armor through out the game. Traits cannot be replaced, however, so Crafting is the only way to ensure you have the Trait you desire.
