Rank I - Destruction Staff Rank 5

Fully charged heavy fire attacks deal 6% additional damage.

Shock Heavy Attacks damage nearby enemies for 50% of the damage done.

Fully-charged Frost Heavy Attacks grant a damage shield that absorbs 2000 damage.

While a Frost Staff is equipped, blocking cost Magicka instead of Stamina.

Rank II - Destruction Staff Rank 34

Fully charged heavy fire attacks deal 12% additional damage.

Shock Heavy Attacks damage nearby enemies for 100% of the damage done.

Fully-charged Frost Heavy Attacks grant a damage shield that absorbs 4000 damage.

While a Frost Staff is equipped, blocking cost Magicka instead of Stamina.

 

Tri Focus is a Skill in Elder Scrolls Online (ESO). This Skill is found in the Destruction Staff Skills Skill Line and can be unlocked by gaining experience while having a Skill from that Line on your active Skill Bar. Skills can be reset at Rededication Shrines found in the capital cities of each ESO faction, for a tidy sum of gold.

  • Skill Line: Destruction Staff Skills
  • Skill Type: Passive
  • Unlocked at: Rank I at Destruction Staff Rank 5, Rank II at Destruction Staff Rank 34
  • Update 7 (v2.1.x):
    • Reduced the heavy attack bonus from heavy fire attacks to 12% from 15%.
    • The Lightning Staff bonus attack now hits up to 6 targets instead of 2 targets.
    • Heavy Shock attacks now deal 50/100% of the final pulse damage to nearby enemies with a maximum of 6 targets, using a radius falloff.
    • Heavy Frost attacks now grant a damage shield for 4/8% of your maximum health.

      Exactly what does fully charged mean? The first shot fired reduces the charge below 100%. So at 99% of full charge does the tri focus quit?
