Monster Helms Sets in Elder Scrolls Online (ESO) can be acquired by running Veteran Dungeons and completing daily Undaunted Pledges. Each Helm only drops from the corresponding boss of the veteran version of each dungeon and has a maximum Champion level of champion160. The shoulders can be found in the store of the three NPCs that hand out Undaunted Pledges, and cost Undaunted Keys. Monster Helms scale to your Champion level to a max of champion160. Please see the individual pages to see where each piece drops. You can now get monster helms from buying them with gold or alliance points. You can only buy these at The Golden in Cyrodiil.


Note: All ESO Monster Helm sets are random in both their armor type (Light/Medium/Heavy) as well as their trait (Reinforced, Infused, Divines, etc…). In order to get the “perfect” set, players will need to put in some farming. See Transmutation for details on how to change the traits in your gear.

 

 

Curated Item Set Drop System

The Curated Item Set Drop System is a new internal mechanic that makes it easier for players to complete their Item Set Collection. With the vast amounts of Set Items available in ESO, this system aims to make engaging in specific content for specific rewards more rewarding the more times it is completed. The Curated Item Set Drop System will launch as a Base Game update, part of Update 32 (Patch 7.2.0) meaning it will be available to all players, irrespective of DLC ownership. The system is currently live on the PTS on PC and Mac.

The Curated Item Set Drop system makes it so that most Bosses that reward Set Items will preferentially drop Set pieces that you do not already own. This system will affect the following activities:

Notably, Set Items that drop from treasure chests (whether overland or through maps), containers (coffers) and non-boss Monsters will not be curated.

If there is a particular Set Item that drops from a certain activity's Boss that you do not have, you will have an increasingly better chance to get it each time you run that activity and defeat that Boss. Note that this system does not change a Boss' loot tables. If a Boss only drops the Shoulder and Leg pieces of a given Set for example, it cannot and will not drop other pieces. The system simply makes it more likely for you to get the pieces you are still missing. While the system is in effect for a given Boss, you will not receive duplicate drops of items you already own. However, once you have collected all available Set Pieces that drop from that Boss, the loot table will revert to the original randomized selection as before. This system should alleviate some of the RNG frustration with loot drops and get you closer to completing your set collection.

An Item Set Collection Summary Page has also been added to the Item Set Collections UI ("Sticker Book") to compliment the curation system. This Summary contains progress bars for every category of Sets which helps guide players to finding pieces they are still missing.

Jerall Mountains Warchief

  (1 item) Adds 129 Weapon and Spell Damage
(2 items) Dealing damage applies a stack of Malady to your enemy, reducing Healing Taken by 1% for 5 seconds, up to 35 stacks. You can apply a stack once every 0.5 seconds. Applying Malady gives you a stack of Contagion, reducing Healing Taken by 1% for 5 seconds, up to 15 stacks. You can only gain a stack once every 1 second.

Nibenay Bay Battlereeve

  (1 item) Adds 424 Critical Resistance
(2 items) When you are forcefully moved via a Pull, Knockback, or Teleport ability, gain a damage shield that absorbs up to 15112 damage for 6 seconds. This damage shield is not affected by Battle Spirit. This effect can occur once every 14 seconds. While you do not have the damage shield from this set, reduce your damage taken from Players by 5%.

Colovian Highlands General

  (1 item) Adds 1487 Offensive Penetration
(2 items) When you kill a Player, gain a stack of Blood Debt for 0.5 seconds. When Blood Debt expires, you and up to 5 Group members within 28 meters of you gain 15 Ultimate per stack of Blood Debt.

Anthelmir's Construct

  (1 Item) Adds 129 Weapon and Spell Damage
(2 Items) Attacking an enemy with a fully-charged heavy attack throws an axe at your enemy, dealing 1572 Physical Damage and reducing their Armor by 400 for 5 seconds. This effect can occur once every 10 seconds and the damage and armor reduction scale off the higher of your Weapon and Spell Damage. The axe drops to the ground after traveling to your target for 5 seconds. Touching the axe reduces the cooldown of this set by 5 seconds.

The Blind

  (1 Item) Adds 657 Critical Chance
(2 Items) Critically healing yourself or an ally grants them a Hydroglass Damage Shield that absorbs up to 2692 damage for 6 seconds. While the Damage Shield holds and for 3 seconds after it ends, the target gains Minor Force, increasing theirl Critical Damage done by 10%. This effect can occur once every 6 seconds per target.

I tried the Selene set and i couldnt help but laugh, the stamina is almost unnoticable change and the spirit is just a joke.

        Question on the Zaan set. This part here "The beam deals 3440 Flame Damage every 1 second to your enemy for 5 seconds. Every second, this damage increases by 50%". The 50% increase, is it based on the base damage done of or is it plus 50% of the previous damage tick?

          BS that I spend 10 keys and get duplicates and nothing good. Why can't there just be a set cost per type. Like 10, at least I know I will get what I want after 10.

            Yeah something they dont say is that you can get monster helms from the gold vendor in cyrodil on saturdays and sundays for alliance points or gold. Would recomend as some helms are too hard to get like dlc helms. You can also choose if it is heavy , medium or light as it is such a frustration to finish a vetren dungeon only to get the wrong variation.

              (2) When you deal damage, you have a 15% chance to create either a ring of fire or a ring of molten earth around you for 10 seconds, which deals 1,000 Flame Damage or 1,000 Physical Damage every 1 second. Standing within the ring grants you 200 Spell Damage or 200 Weapon Damage. This effect can occur once every 15 seconds.

              Bloodroot Forge

              (5) Increases the damage you deal with bleed damage over time effects by 20%.

              Hagraven’s Garden (Heavy)

              (5) When you take damage while under 50% Health, you summon a preservation of nature around you for 5 seconds. Any damage you take from enemies outside of the preservation is reduced by 50%, and the first time an enemy tries to enter the preservation they are knocked back 5 meters. This effect can occur once every 45 seconds.

              Earthgore (Monster)
              (1) Healing Done
              (2) When you heal a friendly target that is under 50% Health you conjure a pool of quenching blood underneath them, which soaks up enemy placed effects instantly and heals all friendly targets in the area for 30,000 Health over 3 seconds. This effect can occur once every 35 seconds.

                Too bad there isnt a mock set called ""spiked potions"

                Temporarily boosts all stats, increases health, stamina and magicka (cap + regen) and makes the screen loopy.

                Has a 10% chance to apply anytime a potion is consumed.

                Set looks like a khajiit that downed too much skooma, complete googly eyes and the shoulders resemble smuggling pouches.
