Mounts are used as a method of transportation and storage in the Elder Scrolls Online. The Elder Scrolls Online features a variety of horses with different pricing and upgrade options accessible from Stables.
Limited edition mounts can also be purchased from the crown store.
Buying and activating a Mount
You will receive a Sorrel Horse mount when your character reaches level 10.
To buy other mounts, you must visit a Stable and talk to the NPC in charge. In the dialogue, you will see an option to purchase a mount for varying amounts of gold. You can purchase as many mounts as you want, but you can only have one active mount at a time and must return to the Stablemaster to change your active mount.
Summon your mount using the key or pressing the touchpad on your PS4 controller. You can also rename your mounts via the Stable.
Mount Attributes
Every 20 hours, you may increase one "Riding Skill" for a cost of 250 gold.
- Speed: This is the rate at which the mount moves, increasing your character's unmounted movement buff. This attribute is particularly useful in pvp, but can also be convenient for pve travel.
- Stamina: This is your mount's sprint and resistance stat. Similar to your character's sprinting and blocking limitations, horse stamina will determine how far you can sprint before exhausting, and how much damage the mount can take before you get dismounted.
- Carrying Capacity: This is your mount's bag space. Increasing this stats add slots to your character's inventory, providing you with more mobile bag space.

1,800
Highland Wolf Mount
The brown Highland Wolf is common in the Colovian hills and in Cyrodiil's Great Forest, where wild packs are feared by farmers and shepherds. But foresters have domesticated the beasts and, bred for size, use them as mounts.
1,800
Pride-King Lion
The Pride-King Lions are the top predators on the savannahs of northern Elsweyr. No one but the Khajiiti, with their feline intuitions, could have persuaded these proud beasts to serve as mounts.

Tessellated Guar
A sturdy, multi-purpose guar, at home anywhere from swamps to the ashlands
1,300
Horses
Piebald Destrier
Staunch and vigorous, this patterned war-horse is known for its courage and tenacity.

2,500
Kagouti Fabricant
Wheeled constructs and fabricants do just fine in most regions of the Clockwork City, but for traversing rough synthetic terrain, Seht's Apostles prefer the tough and capable Kagouti Fabricant mount.

- Each feed costs 250 Gold
- Feeds can only happen every 20 hours - but you can feed several horses at once.
- The effects of the feeding are immediate
- After 20 points invested into a mount stat, the mount's appearance will change
Discontinued: This information is left here for curiosity purposes.

---|---|---|
Apples | Increases Speed by 1% | Horse's musculature changes - leaner and more defined |
Hay | Increases Stamina by 1 | Horse armor appears |
Oats | Increases Capacity by 1. | Saddlebags are added to the outfit |

Trivia
A fan contest was held via youtube to select emotes and were announced on the official site.
Item Set Collection system was introduced in Update 28 of Elder Scroll Online (ESO), which allows players to add almost all of their item Sets (except Crafted Sets) to the Collections, which helps collect all of ESO's gear and free up storage space.
Set Collection in Elder Scroll Online (ESO)
How Set Collection system work?
Under the Collections menu, you can find a new tab called "Sets" that categorizes all the dropped Item Sets in the game. Each time you equip, deconstruct, fence, research, or NPC vendor sell (not sell to players using the Guild Trader system), the item will be bound to your account and added to your Item Set Collection. Note that when selling an item set to a vendor, it might take some time before that set is added to your collection (it has to clear the buyback period first).
Set Collection works with most types of item sets in the game with the exception of Crafted Sets. There are separate Set Collection Categories for: Overland Sets by Faction, DLC Overland Sets, Dungeon Sets, DLC Dungeon Sets, Trials, Arenas, PVP and Miscellaneous (includes Mythic Items).
Set Reconstruction
At any Transmute Station, you will now find a new tab called “Reconstruct” that allows you to recreate any Item Set piece you have added to your Item Set Collections. You can use Transmute Crystals to recreate an item at its typical dropped quality, see the table below:
Set |
Default Quality |
Base Game/DLC Overland Sets | Green |
Base Game/DLC Dungeon Sets | Blue |
Monster Helm and Shoulder Sets | Purple |
Normal Trial Sets | Blue |
Perfected Trial Sets | Purple |
Normal Arena Sets | Blue |
Perfected Arena Sets | Purple |
Battleground Set Armor or Jewelry | Green |
Battleground Set Weapons | Purple |
Cyrodiil Sets | Green |
Imperial City Sets | Blue |
Antiquities | Orange (Mythic) |
You can also spend additional crafting upgrade materials to upgrade the item's quality at the transmute station during the Reconstruction process.
The cost in Transmute Crystals is variable depending on how many pieces of that item set you have collected. Reconstruction costs 75 Transmute Crystals when you only have 1 piece of that Item Set. Reconstruction cost then scales down to a minimum of 25 Transmute Crystals once you have collected every single piece of that Item Set.
The cost of using upgrade materials to improve the quality of your reconstructed item is dependent on your character's crafting passives for that item type and scales down exactly as it would if you were upgrading that item at a regular crafting station.
You can recreate the item in any trait you want as long as your character has that trait researched. No trait stone is consumed in this process.
Your newly-created item will be marked as “reconstructed” and cannot be traded or sold, but you can deconstruct it to get a small refund of 25 Transmute Crystals.
Reconstruction
Most Reconstructed Items scale in level based on the character you are using to Reconstruct that item. For example, for a level 25 character, most items will appear as level 25 in the Reconstruction menu.
